Part II: Privacy Policy
1. Preamble
This policy describes how SynqPro collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal data of Service users. By using SynqPro, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted its terms.
2. Roles and Responsibilities
SynqPro acts in two capacities depending on the data involved.
As a data controller, for data related to your account, profile, subscription, and use of the Service. As a data processor, for the editorial content you entrust to us for generation or optimization and subsequent transmission to your Webflow CMS, in which case you remain the data controller for such content.
3. Categories of Data Collected
We collect account data, namely your email address, your password (stored securely and non-reversibly), and your verification status. We collect profile data, namely your first name, last name, company, phone number, and language. Regarding subscription and billing, we process your subscription status and billing references; payment processing is handled by Stripe, and no credit card data is stored by SynqPro.
For Webflow connection, we process the client's CMS access authorization as well as site and collection identifiers. For Service usage, we process usage volumes (generations, optimizations) and SEO score history. Finally, we process media, i.e., images and files uploaded via the editor.
Please note: SynqPro does not permanently store article content. It resides in your Webflow CMS. It is processed temporarily and transmitted to artificial intelligence services to generate or optimize text.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases
SynqPro processes your data for the following purposes. The creation and management of your account, the provision of generation and optimization features, as well as connection and publishing to your Webflow CMS, are based on contract performance. Subscription and billing management are based on contract performance and a legal obligation. Monitoring usage for Service improvement, as well as technical error monitoring, are based on our legitimate interest. Finally, communications related to your account, such as verification and reset, are based on contract performance.
5. Subcontractors
To provide the Service, we use several subcontractors, each operating only to the extent necessary for its mission. Webflow is the host platform and provides access to the client's CMS (location: United States). Anthropic (Claude) handles AI content generation and optimization (United States). Perplexity performs web research to source data (United States). Stripe manages payments and subscriptions (United States / European Union). Postmark sends transactional emails, such as verification and password resets (United States). Sentry provides technical error monitoring (European Union). Finally, OVH hosts the application and database (France, European Union).
6. Data Transmitted to Artificial Intelligence Services
During generation or optimization, the article content, keywords, and site context are transmitted to Anthropic, and the keyword is transmitted to Perplexity for processing. This data is transmitted only transiently and solely for the purpose of producing the requested result. SynqPro does not use them to train artificial intelligence models.
7. Transfers Outside the European Union
Some of our subcontractors are located in the United States (Webflow, Anthropic, Perplexity, Postmark, and, where applicable, Stripe). Use of the Service therefore involves data transfers outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, or any other transfer mechanism recognized as valid under applicable law. The main hosting of the application and database is provided in France by OVH.
8. Retention Period
Account and profile data are retained for the entire duration of your use of the Service, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account closure. Billing data is retained for the applicable legal period for accounting and tax purposes. Article content is not permanently stored by SynqPro and is processed transiently. Usage data and SEO score history are retained for the duration of the subscription.
9. Security
SynqPro implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords stored in a non-reversible format, protected access tokens, and data access controls.
10. Your Rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your data: right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing for legitimate reasons. To exercise these rights, you can contact us at: contact@synqro.co.
11. Cookies
The Application may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for its operation (authentication, session maintenance) as well as, where applicable, audience measurement cookies. You can manage your preferences via your browser settings.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Any significant changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel. The last updated date is shown at the top of the document.
